This poem describes my innermost desires
I would capture the colors of the setting sun,
and the gold pattern of sunlight on a trembling leaf.

I would describe the silence of a frozen lake,
and make melody of music, linking rustling of trees with the song of rushing streams.

I would paint the mountains, snowcapped under the intangible sky,
and bathe in the white light at midnight.

I would listen to the wind singing over the stones,
and take a 10-mile-walk on the winding path through the trees.

I would go down to the unfathomable depths of the oceans,
and cackle and glow like fire, rising high into the air.

I would lie, with my face in my hands, on the cloak of soft green,
and live in my world of dreams till eternity,
worshipping the hills, the trees, the white streams,
The beauty of thought remaining with me indefinitely.
