PLEASE READ AND REVIEW
Since the tragedy
We have been hiding
Scared for people to see the truth
Each day We are reminded of our loss,
Afraid to let people in
Apprehensive of their judgement.
And yet, we are afraid to be alone.

Isolated we stand
Surrounded by questions
For which we have no answers

Why won't they leave us to grieve?

To the world we present a smile,
an overcome of pain
like we are stable-
not crippled from the shock

When we smile,
we are frowning inside
Our laughter is our tears.
Each dawn I wish
I could let it all show.

To take off my mask and cry.
