An attempt to destroy the Myth of the big bang
The infinite universe, is made up of galaxies.
They occasionally collide to make new ones.
Galaxies have always been.
They can gather together to form clusters, the clusters gather to form superclusters. There are greater formations, as yet we have no way of discerning them.
The galaxies are composed of stars, our sun is one of them.
The birth and death of a star is cyclic.
From a cloud particles gather together by gravitaional attraction and pull more an more particles in by a process called acretion.
When a proto-star has sufficient mass, a nuclear
fire ignites in the core.
Planets may form around the sun within this same process of acretion. Our earth is one such planet.
Millions and millions of years pass, during which time life may appear. Ice ages and other collisions with meteors make life forms extinct
periodically, they may recurr if conditions are suitable.
The star continues to shine come what may until
it runs out of fuel. Then it becomes a red giant, it is dieing of old age.
It goes out in style becoming a supernova, which out shines all the rest of the stars in the galaxy,
then becomes a dust cloud once more.
