I'll ever see you in my soul.
Still See You

I saw you again today
in a photo pasted to the back of my eyes.
That album of my mind, open
does cradle memory blue;
for the length of my arm
limits the touch of you.

         Sweet change despised,
         as you shine with him....

I don the garb of loneliness
and undress only the night,
to nestle pale comfort;
the cold ring of flame
you burn for me
in pursuit of your escape.

Taken, is the warmth of my real.
You've left only your face
yet, hopeful, I will wake.
Surely though,
I'll see you again--
tomorrow.
