An Alliterative. A forlorn woman has lost her love to war.
Drip, drop.
Behold the rain.
Falling, spilling.
Endlessly, aimlessly,
illuminated by the light.
Pegs of steel,
sparklers on trees,
like the fourth of July.
Love listening,
listening.
Petals of lilies,
listlessly slumping.
The weight of an
Angel's teardrop.
Splashing, pooling,
developing puddles.
Large, small.
Bugle's call.
Soldier's fall.
Lasting legacy.
Lovelorn widow.
Behold the rain.
Drip, drop.
