The hardest part of watching them grow, is having to let them go.
YESTERDAY -
You were mine, and you needed me,
To love you and give you security.
To care for you and watch you grow,
And one day be willing to let you go.

TODAY -
You're not crawling, for here you stand,
One day at a time, letting go of my hand.
Still holding on, but not like before,
It won't be long, you'll need me no more.

TOMORROW -
Will come, before it's time,
You'll be your own, no longer mine.
You'll hug me tight, and kiss my cheek,
And as you leave, my heart will weep.

FOREVER -
I will love you, may you always know.
The hardest part of watching you grow,
Is knowing that I Have To, Let You Go!
