about a guy in school teased by everyone
Every day, I see him
Walking all alone
With no one to talk to
And no friends to call his own.

I know how much he tries
To fit in with the crowd.
But he tries too hard sometimes
And he’s often obnoxious and loud.

He might do gross and nasty things
And vulgarities I’d rather not mention
But he is still a human being
And all he craves is attention.

My heart goes out to him
Whenever people make fun of him
Because I know how hard
He works at trying to fit in.

He is really a special person
That people often misjudge
But if they had to live the life he has
Believe me, they would shut up.

I cannot say I know how he feels
Or that I can relate to the life he has had to lead
But I can say I will be his friend so he won’t be so lonely.
