Lost Soul

If you were to ask me who I was,
I couldn't tell you because I know not.
Trapped within my myself I reside within the confines of my mind.
My body lies here,
Empty and foresaken.
My spirit is gone.
I am unaware of the meaning of my living
for the soul that lived once in my body has left
And though I may appear to live,
I am a ghost.
An imprint of my former life.
