Me and my motorcycle

Ride The Wind

A warm summer day
in the month of June
as the radio plays
my favorite tune.

There's a clear blue sky
where the Eagles glide,
with a quiet sigh
I'm off for a ride.

A peace settles in,
the world passes by.
I will ride the wind,
a natural high.

In sync with my steed
as time stands intact,
immersed in the speed
with the throttle cracked.

My mistress is here
in leather and chrome.
She helps my head clear
and I feel at home.

It's my dream come true,
my means to an end.
She's never been cruel,
not to me, my friend.

Makes me feel younger
briefly I'll look back,
wire wheels of thunder
and I, dressed in black.
