A moment of seemingly complete stillness in which I enjoyed a winter day.
Naked trees spread their lacy fingers,

Welcoming the pale descending twilight,

Snow embraces the sleeping earth,

Its wintry spell banishing time,

The sweet breath of silence fills the air,

Bathing my soul with a rare peace,

Slowly the tender moment fades

Silver traces echoing across my mind.
