About a vampire and her feelings as she takes flight
Black light of the night enfolds the earth;
Moonshine glistening like a thousand angry tears.
I am a lone figure deserted on the rooftop,
My blood is pumping, adreneline rushing.
Slowly the pure rays glance at my cursed form
And the wind takes my red and black hair for a spin.
Wings of black burst from my back
Their soft feathers ignite with energy
And I am radiant with darkness;
Even the moon with blessed light
Sighs at my dark revel.
The wind fills my wings and I am an ebony eagle
I am the night
As I fly on satin wings.
