A child's interview with sun
***
*****

Oh, shining sun in the sky!
   Oh, mother of universe high!
   Forever is your inflammation
   Brightly disperse your illumination

   My dear young innocent child!
You need my light to well grow up
Then afterward you shall say good bye!
To get rest and deep in your bed asleep

But tell me where do you sleep?
When the daylight sets and conceal?
Why then does your light slowly vanish?
   Slipping away every coming sunset

No, I do not sleep but still
   Since long ago and forever
   Like lantern, I burn continually
And in the sky I shift my golden streaks

Then, why do you hide from us?
   Whenever darkness does prevail
Do you leave us here to go elsewhere?
Giving your warm gleam to others instead!

   Leaving our shadows to triumph
With neither light nor warm to us

   I leave but moon replaces
Reflect my light and so do stars
When I do disappear from your land
   Another mankind receives my twilight

   When evening shall visit you
Day begins there and I still shine!
