Somethings I feel sacrelige about putting down in words.
The corner of my eye tells me it’s snowing outside. Without focus I feel a cool rising. With the warmth of the bed stealing my breath, I feel as of I weigh almost nothing, only his hand in mine. Whispers were made for moments like this. The soft notes of his voice float without need of understanding, only a warm place to sleep. His words wrap in blankets around my heart. Things unfold in this room, whether words are spoken or not. Shadows come to stretch out their legs, completing dizzy laps along the walls. Stopping to hang like opaque lace in the corners, pooling into dark puddles. A gentle hand brushes my face. The smile is unstoppable. Seven hours spent on sweet nothings. Yielding something beyond all perception, five thousand feeling in a single instant, sixteen sensations in one kiss, three tiny words, ones I certainly never thought I’d say, now aren’t enough, not even close. When I look out the window the world seems to just… fall away…..
