over coming past without friends knowing
Did you know

You all were there
Did you see me
Did you hear the moans of my headaches
Or the silence of the knife
Did you ever notice my torn flesh
Did you hear the rattle of the bottle
As I chugged that
Or did you only notice
The quiet kid
The sick kid
The helpful kid
Don’t feel bad
No one noticed me
I smile now
Knowing
God helped me
No one else did
