An attention getter for downtown Shelbyville and the Antiques, Art, and Collectibles Mall
Join the fun and excitement in Shelbyville. Horse shows, horse barns, and horses are throughout Bedford County. Visitors are seen walking around the historic Square, having a bite to eat, looking at the newly installed Veterans' Monument by Russ Faxon right across from the Antiques, Art, and Collectibles Mall and browsing in the Mall. Equine artists with booths in the mall include Deedy Decker who shows painted furniture and accessories; Barbara Booth with paintings and woodburned boxes; and Mike Cheatham with paintings and painted furniture and accessories. These three artists also specialize in horse and dog portraits. Jared Pragel has pen and ink drawings and other booth owners delight in displaying horse related collectibles. March, May, and, of course, August, are big months for horses in Shelbyville.
