A poem about a duel btween dragons. It is one of my earlier ones. sorry if it sounds off.
As the sun burned low,
and the fireflies lit aglow,
the beasts settled down to end their crazy flow.
Or no?

Two dragons were fighting, eyes and mouths ablaze,
the air so thick with smoke, there was a haze.
They bit and slash,
They broke bones with a clash,
with roars like lightning.
Oh, was it frightening!

As they backed off, panting for rest,
With blood flowing down their royal crest,
The truth cut through them like a knife:
Only one of them would leave with it's life!

They hurtled themselves, strength anew,
in a mightly clash of bone and sinew.
There they fought, never stopping for rest,
fighting that day to see who was the best.

And as the sun rose to start a new day,
only one dragon walked away.
