A killer's eyes.
You can pass through-
where the killer has been.
Hair disheveled, eyes ablaze.
Pain of bad decisions,
echoing days upon days.

He murders, we mourn.
News covers, we scorn.
Tears fall, jail calls-
time serves small justice.
Anger stays a light, blame is
condescending.
As always, will wane.

The clink of the cuffs.
The sound of his many days-
do leave him unencumbered.
But still locked away.
Locked deep away, although taunting he was.
Face on the newscasts, hands doused in blood.

Soap can always remove the stains.
But it cannot wane eternal suffering pain.
Loss of a loved one, just for a stupid game.
They still miss you, dear angel.
They will for days upon days.
