finally, a new poem
Another summer falls.
The nights start to grow dark.
It still makes me wonder how
I'll get over my breaking heart.

Fall leaves to winter.
The twigs on trees are bare.
I still can't get over that
You just couldn't manage to care.

Winter unthaws to spring.
The sun shines once again.
I really almost wish that
We could have remained friends.

We spring forth into summer.
The days become longer.
I now realize without you,
I have become much stronger.

Over a year's time,
I had a lot of time to reason.
But at that time, I got over you.
Within those four hard seasons.
