This is for the family members of juvenile cancer patients.I cried whole time I wrote it.
When you fell and skinned your knee,
Mommy kissed you better.

When you dropped out of your tree,
Mommy kissed you better.

When you cried, scared of the dark,
Mommy kissed you better.

When you got lost in the park,
Mommy kissed you better.

When they took you for those tests,
Mommy tried to kiss you better.

When it hurt so bad you couldn't rest,
Mommy tried to kiss you better.

When you cried, scared of death,
Mommy tried to kiss you better.

When you gasped and fought for breath,
Mommy tried to kiss you better.

When your soul went to it's home,
Mommy knew you felt better.

When mommy cries next to your stone,
You reach down and kiss her better.
