"Well, hello beautiful tree. You look lovely today."

"Thank you."

"Who said that?"

"I did, you spoke to me. I was thanking you for the compliment."

"I must be losing my mind. Hello beautiful flower. Would you mind if I picked you?"

"Please don't! If you pick me, I'll die."

"Holy shit, I really am losing my mind."

"No, you're not. You just don't want to believe your own ears."

"Why are you speaking to me? You've never done this before."

"You've never spoken to us before either."

"Ok, good point. Can you all speak?"

"Of course! It's just you humans. You only hear what you want to hear."

"Hi, human!"

"Who said that?"

"Me, over here!"

"Oh, what a cute squirrel. How are you today?"

"Not bad, thank you. Do you have any nuts?"

"No, sorry. I'll bring some tomorrow if you'd like."

"Thanks! I'm partial to peanuts. They're so yummy."

"I'll bring you some in the morning. I have to go. It was lovely meeting you all."

"You too, human. Thank you for taking the time to hear us. It's very refreshing."

"You're welcome. See you tomorrow!"
