The cruelties we involve ourselves in for a fulfillingness of love
Young hearts are quiet, and don't reason with pain
I wish I could cry out the unfathomable ends of my soul
And yet nothing, is what I would gain

Love is punished, with everlasting blindness
Like as Eve bit from the apple
Supposing a serpents kindness

You left a millennia ago
And now that I hear your voice, I want you to know
If a soul was to be real, and if it was to have a mate
Then it seems you were mine, what a cruel fate

And if our life is plentiful, God may give us a chance
To once again seek one another, and rekindle a tattered romance
