suicide; death of a loved one
I watched him go to sleep
Ran my hand down his cheek
I smiled and kissed his lips
And turned out the lights

I felt you wrap your arms around me
And I smiled and drifted away
I love you
And you love me

I woke up this morning
And watched you wake up too
But you didn't
You never woke up

I buried you
Because you slept tomorrow today
You're one of the lucky ones
You escaped the world

I went home today
And you held me once again
I kissed your lips
We escaped the world
