I'm really not much of a poet, but here goes... |
| Bang! And we're off! My suspension of disbeief is engaged and my righteous indignation is on mute. I believe!! I believe!!! One man CAN dodge 42 bullets and the bomb WILL always be found 2 seconds before it blows . Yes!!! Men DO say that stuff and Women DO believe them! Romance is best in a can! No! I'm not immune!! The ethnic DOES always have to die, I understand these are the rules, and no, I won't mention it again. Keep it coming! Don't stop now!!! Dead people always dissapear before they become too discomforting and I will greedily swallow the happily ever after implied. Give me my illusions I'll pick them apart later, I'll disect them. I'll tear them apart and I'll hate them. I'll berate the media for the imperfection it flaunts and I'll flail my arms menacingly at society. Please turn up the volume! Art and life are one in the same so the question is rendered moot. I recognize myself on the canvas and... the feelings are complicated. The antennae is up and i'm recieveing. |
