Being loved by one you love and the flooring effect it has, produced this.

Butter and Stone

In your presence and in your arms
My heart's at peace and safe from harm

It once was stone, your eyes made it butter
Never could feel it beat, now it flutters

Days have gone by, and the years rolled on
Wanting nothing but to love again, but convinced it's gone

No hope remains, yet I live on
Day by day, year by year, feels like an aeon

Wanting to be with Jesus, His love ,I know is true
Praying to die, then came you

In your love, I am drenched
If I die tomorrow, my one desire has been quenched

To experience love never so true, never so pure
I was terminally ill, and in you, I have found the cure

Never felt this before, nothing of the sort
wanna be with you forever, but forever would be too short

With you on my mind, In love, I'm believing
My pen can't keep up, with thoughts of you, coming and leaving

Just you know, with you in my heart, I'm never alone
You've turned to butter, what was once stone.
