I close my eyes
A shadow appears
I open my eyes
A shadow appears
I turn on the light
A shadow appears
This is the shadow
Holding all of my fears

I open the door
A shadow appears
I walk down the street
A shadow appears
I turn the corner
A shadow appears
This is the shadow
Holding all of my fears

I run to escape
A shadow appears
I lock myself away
A shadow appears
I give up on life
A shadow appears
This is the shadow
Holding all of my fears
