Lonely

This is a poem about my true inner feelings, about friendship in this world. I hope you will appreciate this amateur work.

LONELY


Amongst this huge crowd,
Where all are so proud,
I think, I am the only,
Whose heart is so lonely.

With so many friends,
Yet, nobody to depend,
There is noise all around,
However, my heart hears no sound.

There are colors everywhere,
Which my heart does not share,
It is always too afraid,
Of the unexpected raid.

They all are talking,
While my heart is walking,
Through the hollowness of words,
They do know that it hurts.

Friends, they say they are,
And such good ones they were,
Who, never answered my call,
But were there, to see me fall.

Nobody, was any sincere,
Although, they say me dear,
So, I have to wait till the end,
For, one deserving friend.
