A feeling I get occasionally around people who have prejudice around people of faith.
Let's hate him for his innocence,
Let's curse him for his pride.
He must think he's "Pure of Heart"
What does he have to hide?

All the rest of us are sinners,
Does he think that he's above?
I bet he still believes fables
"Integrity" and "love."

Here he comes, lets turn our backs;
Fill empty hearts with scorn.
Make him ashamed of what is right;
He'll curse crown's every thorn.

What's this? His pity, and a smile
he gives us in return?
He doesn't owe us anything, but
pays hurt with concern?

How queer, indeed, to witness this,
We just don't comprehend.
Move on, find new ones to hate;
Continue to pretend.
