pesimistic self reflection
I wish I was not me for a day,
For better or for worse, either way.
The aggregate monotony- unescapable.
And the possibility for a change is un-makeable.
So as long as I live, with me I must stay.
But to let go of all that I’ve come to be,
And indulge a while in another deficiency-
Just the thought gives a lighter sense
On myslef to not be so damn tense.
Regardless, I’m a gnome in this dome of intricacy...

I wish I was not me for a day;
To remold my perceptions like indolent clay.
To believe in something far less than myself,
Shoveling relentlessly, but retrieving no wealth.
I hope God isn’t upset for these things I say.
Given the circumstances, whichever habit to break;
Better even less, whichever habit to take-
For life, reality and the real differs its roots,
As for me, take a just look at my boots.
A day away from me, not a chance under any stake.
