On Cassandra, the prophet who never was believed in.
Apollo’s lover
An hint of danger
A gift and a curse
Love and hate are so diverse

No more listened to
Not able to start anew
Linked to the drama
Amazing not to have any trauma

Not being believed
Not easy to live
Wanting to prevent tragedy
Perceived as treachery

Telling the truth
Impression of being mute
The powerful curse
Is still being nursed

Being seen as mad
Predictions very bad
An uneasy case
A frightful base

The doomed day
Coming this way
Fright here to stay
Being kept at bay

The wooden horse at the door
Talking all she can afford
Not much charisma
Poor Cassandra!

The prediction come true
Can’t have her due
The city is down
The wall are blown

The treasure is gone
A lot of bones
No return to home
Now all alone

The final act
Uncertainty of facts
The heights of the past
Means nothing, at last

How she dies
May be lies
But the turning point
Is on the bad side of the coin
