It is about racism and extreme pride leading to war.
Of Snakes and Monkey Brains.

" Do you take Dog Meat?"
Ask'd an urban girl,
To a girl from an unknown region,
Shrouded in mystery.
"Yes," answered she,
We eat snakes too."
And the monkey brain eating girl,
Stood close by,
A silent observer.

In a world parted by distance,
So wide and variant.
Hills, mountains, deserts, and plains;
Heat, dust, snow, and rain;
Full of features so unlike,
Yellow, black, and white;
And habits so different,
As belonging to two worlds,
People survive.

Driven by
Mutual distrust,
And extreme pride,
People fight.
Fight for one's rights,
Country, race, and religion.
Forever ready to die,
To make blood flow,
To satisfy one's ego.

And I ask myself
WHY?
Why can't people live in peace?
Is it so hard to know an emotion that we all feel?
A child of love spreading such hatred,
Filling the world
With War.
Is it so hard? I ask myself...
To "Live, and Let Live ?"
