A short poem about a witch's sacred circle
You see it etched in the earth
A circle so simple
The question emerges in your mind
Why?

If you speak the language of the forest
It speaks of lost souls wanting peace,
Of the grateful children of nature,
Of wishes and celebrations of life

It would tell you why,
About the candles and song
Of magic and laughter
Of balance and meaning

This simple circle drawn in the earth
The sacred space between the worlds
The ancient church of the old ways
Where spirits play and dance with the living

This simple circle of power
In perfect love and perfect trust
Not but love may enter nor leave
The one place left on earth void of corruption
