A love that can never be
A soul-mate in you....
I have found.
Our hearts together....
always bound.

You're the one...
I hold so tight.
Yet not the one...
I kiss goodnight.

He touches me...
I cry for you.
He cannot help me...
He has no clue.

It's hard to give...
what I do not feel.
My love for him...
Just isn't real.

My heart will break...
Of this I'm sure.
There is no hope...
There is no cure.

You are not mine...
For this I weep.
But your love for me...
Is mine to keep.
