In the midst of depression, I wrote this, an honest reflection of the thoughts in my head
This was written over a year ago, but edited recently. Though this does not constantly apply to my thoughts, I cannot deny that is still there

If anything should happen,
The fault is not on you,
Don’t blame yourself,
You did all that you could do.
I know you'll say the worst,
That you didn't care enough,
That you didn't love enough,
But please don't be too rough,
You cared more than I can explain,
You showed more love than you know,
And if something should happen,
Know that I appreciate you more than I can show.
This world creates pain in me,
And you were always there to heal,
But I don’t know how much more
Of this pain I can feel.
But if anything should happen,
Know that I always loved you,
That you were always an amazing friend,
And that I always appreciated you.
