A poem reflecting my frustration with college apps.
<sigh>

I'm bored when I shouldn't be,
Dawdling when I oughta be working,
Tired when I can't sleep,
         and
Not listening to what I'm thinking.

Holy crap, it's almost here—
The end of my Senior year.
I have work that's still to do
And it's more than I can chew.
But not too much that can't be done—
Just 'nough to drain my world of fun
And color like when it snows all night
And all you see is frost and white;
You open the door, but you can't leave:
There's a wall of snow that keeps you in
The house all day. Why can't I leave
And do what I want to and when
I feel the need to do it,
Just so that I can do it,
Something that's not this.

Something other than this.
