Reflection on some days in life
Dreams of evasion;
thrills unseen;
stress screaming at silence,
never whirling in a trance.

Dancing amongst stings of life;
aiming to decipher each bitter slice;
hoping I don’t have to solve all this.

Today I can’t lean alone;
I can’t hold onto what passion creates
when nothing within me can motivate.

I evaporate in an empty home;
partly wish more sorrow, more doom.
Wish I could remember a memory;
a sense of true vision,
of full sensation.

A look of intrigue,
a reason of hope,
but in this fatigue
I feel like nothingness.

Like I am away
Maybe just a vacation.
