Addiction of Sorts

Debauched in so many ways
Yet you cannot resist
Because it takes today's pain and adds it to tomorrow’s
And you knowingly accept
Because you can’t deal with yesterday or today
But you hope that you can face it all when the sun comes up
However, darkness remains, and temptation prevails
A vicious cycle of masking what is real
And losing yourself in the process
