The passing of a season
I stand alone, no one around
As i wither away, no joy abounds
Another year passed im fading to grey
But i will live and grant life another day
Once again to shadow those below
And protect the ones who love me so
I will stand proud, tall and lean
Until the grass beneath me is once again green
Winters may come, winters may go
There will always be summer and room to grow
So here i will stand day after day
Watching years pass and fading to grey
