That place between waking and dreaming, the emptiness of the soul's soul.
Seal away all the lies that we made
Never scream about
All the mire that we carve in our face
In the Dreamout
Do we prey on the history we save
Future's new route
Steal his grave when the sun's out of place
In the Dreamout
Kneel and pray to the dragons we slay
Crying brings drought
As we trace fallen children who play
In the Dreamout
Mother, may I go back in the game
When the boys shout
Standing rain, poison's triumph again
In the Dreamout
Here today, gone tomorrow's the shame
Prostrate devout
I will flay all the flesh from my name
In the Dreamout
