A poem about our pathetic "Leaders"
Slithering serpents
sliding through the eyes
of a skull
lying on a floor
in our nation's capital.

Rattling serpents
allowing spies
and pitching bull
through the door
of our nation's capital.

Stinking skunks
crawling through the brush
and hiding
under the porch
of our nation's home.

Putrid skunks
who prod and push
confiding
bearing the torch
to ignite our nation's home.

Corrupt men
filled with arrogance
and incompetence
who have taken away
our nation's soul.

Good bye Habeas Corpus!
Who needed you?

Good bye Geneva Conventions!
Who needed you?

Good bye Constitution!
Who needed you?

I think I prefer snakes and skunks.
