Remain friends.

Dam it been
Three years now
Of knowing each other
And to me
I know now for sure
that love carried us
through last year.
And we had many laughs.
I gave you my heart
And you did your best
And I cried many nights
Because our love
Was so deep.
Scared and alone,
I pushed you away.
By trying to hard.
For I want you
To know that just
Because we are
No longer together
You will cross my mind
And a smile will appear
Because
We had something special
And its time to let it go
And remain friends
Like we promise
Each other
Before we dated.
So here the ending of our
love life.
But keep the friendship alive
And if you see us
Slipping away
From being friends
Please pull me aside
And tell me
You want
To
Remain friends.
