Expectations about others
Second Day Sober

You did
And past is stone
Long since carved,
Chisled and based.
Unable to be erased.
(MOAN)
Hold fast and starve
When next I see your face?
Why the devil couldn't you wait?

Stop. Delay. Deny.
Instead to fall and lie
In bed with false fate
And expect me to wait?
Delay and hold fast
Despite stone's past
And fly for true fate
Instead,
Deny company of the dead
Out late tonight

I will...and I did
