the stadium quiets

to a roar.


rugged men performing,

the Touchdown dance;

they score.


catch, run, tackle,

the choreography,

the game.


come tomorrow,

remember MVP's

name


The Big game,

the season is

over.


come Sunday,

football will be

no more.
