This is something that I made for a friend whose sister has been missing for many years.
Gone, But Not Forgotten

Some days still I awaken only to see your sweet smile
I hear your playful laugh and long to hold you when you cry
Soon I remember that you are gone, but still I feel you near
Time may have passed, but for me your memory is just as clear
Each night I pray, and never stop loving, hoping, and dreaming
Remembering the years we shared, the light you never failed to bring

From dawn to dusk, countless days untold
Right here I await for your hand once more to hold
Inside of me, thoughts of you will always live
Each night I go to sleep with a prayer for you upon my lips
Nights bring pleasant dreams of us apart no more
Days I spend looking for you, never will I tire of this chore
...For you are...Gone But Not Forgotten
