Is the idea of using recycled water acceptable?
WATER WATER EVERYWHERE.

There's a town called Toowoomba, in Queensland, Australia
That's near out of water, caused by wet season failure.
The Town Council and boffins, much money they've spent
To recycle fresh water from -- um -- effluent.

The experiment worked and they lobbied about
their idea, but the township was still much in doubt.
A "mind over matter" case, that's where they stood,
The thought of drinking such water --- Who would?

A ballot was held to see if the location
Would accept this idea and put it into motion.
The vote from the people was emphatically "NO",
So back on the shelf this proposal did go.

So, if you should travel to Toowoomba, Australia,
And find yourself thirsty, don't bring your regalia
of bottles and flasks and containers of liquid,
'Cause the water's real here, not something insipid.
