Just a free write, that is so unlike me ?? Is She?
Walking into this local joint,
I strutted up to the bar
Didn't see you sitting there
I couldn't see that far

My tears were in the way you see,
don't know why I'm in this place
Not like me to act like this
just needed to see your face

Watched for awhile to see what you'd do
The music started to play
You put your drink down on the bar
To her you started to sway

You held her so close and I felt faint
My mind and thoughts did swirl
The guy next to me grabbed my arm
I said, "I'm not that kind of girl"

He apologized and sat back down
I felt my face so flush
My purse and I walked out that door
It certainly was a rush

Admit it ladies, you know it's true
Your man who is all to you
In wink of an eye your head can be turned
From someone out of the blue

Although people who say they know me
who think of me as a pearl
Know really down deep and to everyone else
"I'm Not That Kind of Girl"
