Letting go of your past and looking forward.
It's time I look,
into the open book
I now am brave enough to read.
Drinking in each line,
redeeming the time,
that was lost; now I'm relieved.
Of all the stares
the glares, the cares,
that forever surrounded me.
Into the unknown I go
holding the Hand I know
will never let go; never leave.
So here I stand
please take my hand,
"Allow me to love," I plead.
"To look between the lines,
see no cover or disguise;
to behold you, no one else, " I entreat.
