ROOM OF DESPAIR

I am in a room of despair
Love once a meaning all but disappeared
My thoughts and feelings are numb
I’m not aware
Locked in this room of bars
My soul within shows my scars
Silently at night I see your face
Your love and grace I have erased
My time is near so I will let go
Will I have never-ending darkness?
Or will the light of love glow
