A ROBBERY FOILED.

He approached the teller with a loaded gun,
A stocking on his head.
A shaking hand gave up the cash,
It was better than being dead.

Customers froze as they watched the scene,
But one brave fellow swore.
He leapt upon the bandit bold
and knocked him to the floor.

Alarms went off and people fled,
Casualties were zero.
Police arrived and cuffed the thief,
Then turned to thank the hero.

But, he had gone, and no one saw
Which way he went. Oh, sorrow.
They couldn't give him his reward.
What will Superman do tomorrow?
