*revised* another poem of love not quite in sync
Bittersweet pain in my heart, will it mend?
From friends to lovers in one weekend.
A taste of heaven, were the time right,
Out of the darkness into the light.
Such a brief reprieve, no distractions,
Lighting a fire to latent passions.
Yet back to reality we must go,
Interrupting the sensual flow.
And so, where do we go from here?
Destined to be just friends, I fear.
Is there a way to make him mine?
My heart is torn, do I cross the line?
Star crossed lovers, we are it seems.
Remind my heart as it screams,
That he is the one for me, no doubt,
But it cannot to be, just cry it out.
