Another Shakespearian-style sonnet about my special someone.
#2

To hold you would be enough to live for
And to touch you, a blessing from heaven.
If I could taste your sweetness just once more
The weight of the world would surely lessen.

You make me feel free like nothing else can
With your love and beauty, warm like the sun.
Life is our beach and we walk in its sand,
Barefoot and smiling, there’s no need to run.

In you I find comfort, shelter from storms,
Relief from the worries of a long day.
And when the tide comes and tugs at the shore
Castles and seashells will all wash away.

But we will stand strong, our love will remain,
Walking together and sharing the rain.
